Tres Voces por Amor a Mazatlán

En días pasados tuve el privilegio de compartir el escenario con los estimados y reconocidos tenores Óscar Gómez y Jorge Echeagaray en el espectáculo musical Tres Voces por Amor a Mazatlán, a beneficio de la Ciudad de los Niños. Colaboramos con el pianista José Miguel Rivera Gómez y fuimos acompañados por el Mariachi Occidental de Mazatlán en la segunda parte del programa.
A pesar de algunas fallas en el sistema de sonido, el concierto fue bien recibido por el público. El programa incluyó canciones tradicionales en la primera mitad (Sabor a Mí, Cómo Fue, María Elena, etc.), acompañadas por José Miguel al piano, y temas populares tales como La Malagueña, Paloma Negra, Cucurrucucú, en la segunda parte con el Mariachi Occidental. Al final, Jorge, Óscar y yo cantamos El Rey y El Sinaloense.
Agradezco a El Cid Resorts, especialmente a Karina García, por permitirnos utilizar el Teatro de El Cid, al Sr. Raúl Rico del Instituto Municipal de Cultura, a Elizabeth Sánchez Carrillo de la Cruz Roja en Mazatlán, a Julieta Lomelí por su colaboración en la logística y difusión, y al público que llenó todas las butacas del teatro (SOLD OUT!!!!!). ¡Muchas gracias!
In recent days I had the privilege of sharing the stage with the esteemed and renowned tenors Óscar Gómez and Jorge Echeagaray in the musical show Tres Voces por Amor a Mazatlán, to benefit the Ciudad de los Niños (Children's Home). We collaborated with pianist José Miguel Rivera Gómez and were accompanied by the Mariachi Occidental de Mazatlán in the second part of the program.
Despite some failures in the sound system, the concert was well received by the public. The program included traditional songs in the first half (Sabor a Mí, How Fue, María Elena, etc.), accompanied by José Miguel on the piano, and popular songs such as La Malagueña, Paloma Negra, Cucurrucucú, in the second part with the Western Mariachi. In the end, Jorge, Óscar and I sang El Rey and El Sinaloense.
I thank El Cid Resorts, especially Karina García, for allowing us to use the El Cid Theater, Mr. Raúl Rico of the Municipal Institute of Culture, Elizabeth Sánchez Carrillo of the Red Cross in Mazatlán, Julieta Lomelí for her collaboration with logistics, and to the audience that filled all the seats in the theater (SOLD OUT!!!!!).
